What makes Redeemer's worship unique?
Redeemer is guided by a principle that makes sure everything we do in worship presents, reinforces, and teaches the gospel to our people. From beginning to end the Bible is about one story, God sends his son Jesus to save us from our sins. It began in the Garden of Eden with a promise to save by the seed of the woman. In Moses’ law God took great care in describing the sacrifices which are the basics of the gospel, removing our guilt and restoring us to fellowship with God.
Then in the New Testament, God uses the same care and attention when we teach and preach the story of the Bible, the gospel. That means whatever we do in our worship service, it has to connect to Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection for saving sinners.
From the call to worship to the benediction, the gospel of Christ is central to our worship, calling us to relationship with the Father, renewal by His Spirit, and service to His Son.
The purpose of our worship
- To utilize the arts and music to bring glory to God and make His gospel known
- To demonstrate the gospel's impact on the arts and music to our community and church
