1. Share a time in which you felt you were truly being used by God in someone’s life?  Share a time in which you felt unworthy or unqualified to be used by God in someone’s life?

2. Was Peter being unreasonable in his questioning of Jesus’ fishing tactics?   How do you think you would have reacted in Peter’s place when your nets were breaking from the catch of fish?

3. Why does Peter feel sinful in v. 8 after the miraculous catch of fish?

4. What does the term “sinner” mean to you?

5. Divide up the following verses and look for a common theme that runs throughout. Luke 3:12; 5:27; 7:29; 15:1; 18:10; 19:1-2

(Hint: how is the group of people looked upon in Luke? What happens to them?)

6. In v. 11, they left everything to follow him. What would that look like today? In your life?
